How to Install hwinfo software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

hwinfo software package provides Hardware identification system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hwinfo

hwinfo is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hwinfo package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hwinfo *

You will get with hwinfo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
